They're Here!

They're HERE!!

Our New Litter Arrived September 12, 2009
FOUR Girls & FOUR Boys - All Jet Black, Healthy, Fat & Sassy!

Quita, our lovely black girl was paired with Rocco, our handsome
black male. This is a repeat breeding of last summer's litter.
We know from our July 08' litter that this breeding will produce all black,
gorgeous, show potential pups.

Scroll down for some puppy pic's of our 08' litter.

Both parents are highly intelligent yet with very different personalities.
Rocco is very "chilled", cool and laid-back with a scary human-like
intelligence and uncanny intuition. He is the "strong but silent"
type with a very strong, confident presence about him. Yet even at almost
8 years old, he loves to play and be silly. He holds the position of Alpha
over all the poodles but seems to never have to "prove" it - they all just "know"...

Quita is our outgoing and confident girl that watches over our family
with all the vigor she displays in motherhood. While the other poodles
sleep at my bedside, Quita is on "patrol". Not a doorknob can turn
or door squeak without her knowledge. She too is very playful and VERY
silly but when the lights go out she takes her "job" seriously!

Want to know more about puppy temperament? Where it comes from
and how it develops? To understand the difference in the colors?
Answers to these questions and many more can be found on our "FAQ"
(Frequently asked Questions) link on each page.

~NOTE~
Since many of our pups are born the same sex & color, we use collars
of various colors to identify one pup from another. This also helps
to get them used to wearing something around their necks. This aids in
their leash training as well.

Please note that these colors are NOT their actual names, but are only
used by us as a means of identification. We begin calling the pup by
their new name once the new owner decides what that name is to be.

I'm adding this note IN ADVANCE so you won't mistake
"Blue" & "Green" as being the poor puppies names!

We often have pups that appear to be of "SHOW" POTENTIAL, though going
to "SHOW" HOMES is NOT A PRIORITY to us here at BIRDPATCH KENNELS. Though
"SHOW" and "BREEDER" CONTRACTS are AVAILABLE, our priority is seeing them
go to wonderful "FOREVER" HOMES where they can live up to their potential
as intelligent and loving companions. Therefore, most times, even
our "SHOW" QUALITY PUPS are placed in "PET" HOMES - at "PET" PRICING.
