The Imperial Shih-Tzu is basically a small Shih-Tzu -
The height is less than 8 inches - weight less than 4-6 pounds.
The coat is dense, straight double coated.
They are bred as a companion dog or a lap dog. They need very little exercise - a short walk or play in the house is good enough for them. They are very intelligent and easily trained. Brushing is needed on a regular basis so that their coat does not get knotted.
