Kelli Corcoran
* Kelli has 18 years experience training and showing Quarter Horses in halter, showmanship, western pleasure, horsemanship, hunt seat equitation and hunter under saddle.
*Kelli is an accomplished competition horse judge and horse judging coach (FFA, AQHA, TQHA and 4-H). Winning state, regional and national competitions. This was through encouragement and training from her mother, Cindy Garza, who was a horse judging coach for 17 years.
*Kelli started showing Chesapeake Bay Retrievers in AKC conformation.
*Kelli continued with chessies in AKC hunt test earning multiple titles.
*Kelli now soley competes with Labrador Retrievers and is active in hunt tests as well conformation and the occasional qualifying. She professionally trained the young hunt test competition dogs at GE, formerly heritage kennels, for 4 years, taking them from basics to transition. Kelli has titled junior and master hunters and qualified dogs for the AKC master national as well as qualifying placements all while training under the guidance of Danny Farmer, Ryan Brasseaux and her husband, Bill Corcoran.
*Kelli offers private lessons and training classes for those who wish to train their own retriever. Topics include- how to raise a puppy, obedience, force fetch, collar conditioning, yard drills and more.
*Kelli professionally whelps (birth) puppies for clients throughout the US all of which are field trial breedings. GE has a very select breeding program with their personal dogs, both show and field, and have breedings planned and reservations available months before the breeding takes place. Kelli is the proud owner of English imports and American show dogs as well as American competition field labs.
*Do not let the show dogs fool you...her specialty is raising litters/puppies for both field trial and hunt tests!
* Kelli holds an AKC judges card for hunt tests and is a member of APDT.
*Kelli is a AKC certified evaluator for AKC Canine Good Citizens "CGC" testing.
*Kelli offers pre-liminary evaluations for bomb dog, therapy and competition prospects and has a very high pass rate for D.O.D. submissions.
* Colton is her 7 year old son and he is in charge of puppy socialization around the house. They receive compliments regarding the confidence of their puppies on a weekly basis. He runs junior stakes in AKC hunt tests. He is wanting to show in conformation and and rally and is practicing with Marshall daily.

Bill Corcoran
*After 20 years of retriever training ,Bill has retired. His success has been consistent and has earned the respect of AKC judges, clients and fellow trainers alike.
* Bill is a AKC master level hunt test judge.
*Bill has titled well over 30 master dogs and qualified over 25 dogs for the AKC Master National, just in the last 5 years alone.
*Bill was a police officer for 13 years- K-9, swat, detective and corporal. VERY long days- cop by night/ dog trainer by day and successful at the hunt test on the weekends!
* Bill trained under the guidance of Danny Farmer. Danny has won more field trials in his career than any other trainer in the game.
* Bill has authored retriever training books as well as filmed and released instructional retriever training DVD's.
* Bill is an incredible instructor. He offers specialized handling clinics prepairing handlers for the AKC Master National.
*In Dec 2006 Heritage Kennels was closed when Bill resigned from professionally training retrievers. By no longer accepting client dogs for competition retriever training we can now concentrate on our personal dogs success and breeding program.
Ashley Dodd
*Ashley has shown Quarter horses in AQHA, TQHA for 14 years. She has qualified for and competed in the champion of champions through AQHA. She has also had a successful 11 years in the 4-H horse program and 4 years in FFA. She was the President of the FFA her senior year and was very active in the organization throughout high school. She also raised champion turkeys.
* Ashley was a successful horse judge competing at the World show (4 years) and Quarter horse congress twice where she was in the top 10.
* Ashley is a wonderful instructor. She has the gift and patience for working with children and adults alike. Whether it be obedience, retriever training or horsemanship she can help you meet your goals.
*Ashley attended Southwest Texas University in San Marcos and graduated with a degree in Athletic training.
* Ashley has trained competition retrievers to hunt test, conformation, Rally, obedience titles as well as finishing agility titles on her dachshund. She is currently competing in rally, obedience, agility and conformation.
* Ashley also works at a vet clinic near Austin.
* Kelli Corcoran and Ashley Dodd are sisters and have an impeccable working relationship.
