We at the Southern Utah Beagle Barn are proud of our accomplishment of perfecting the beagle breed. All of our dogs and puppies meet or exceed the standard set by the American Kennel Club.
All of our puppies come with a one year conditional health guarantee which covers all of the puppy hood diseases such as parvovirus, canine distemper, adenovirus type-1 and type 2, bordetella, parainfluenza, coronavirus, parasites and genetic defects. All of our vaccinations are FDA approved but are not administered by a liscenced DVM. We will happily provide to you the manufacturer, serial ,lot numbers and expiration dates of any vaccinations administered by our kennel personnel. Rabies vaccinations are required by law to be administered by a liscenced veteranarian. The buyer must strictly adhere to the provided vaccination schedule as well as wellness exams to be established by your veteranarian. Should your puppy become ill and die from any of the ailments listed above we will happily replace your puppy provided you have a certified statement from an accredited veterinarian.
Due to the varying kinds of dog food on the market and the different environmental conditions the dogs come in contact with, we will not guarantee the dog unless they’re given NuVet Plus daily at the manufacturer’s suggested dosage for 1year (length of contract). Failure to do so makes this guarantee null and void. See my "Highly Recommended" page for full information.
Our guarantee does not cover Rabies infection, accidents, poisoning, snake or insect bites, drowning, electrocution or weather related ailments. It is the buyers responsibility to keep your pet safe and out of harms way. It is also the buyer responsibility to provide adequate nutrition, diet and exercise as needed by your pet to keep him or her happy and healthy. 
We encourage our buyers to be sure that they themselves are not allergic to pet dander as this is not covered by our guarantee. A little common sense can go a long way.

All of our puppies have their dew claws removed 3 days afer birth, receive their 1st puppy vaccinations (Vanguard Plus 5/CV), de-worming (Nemex-2 pyrantel pamoate) and Canine Parainfluenza-Bordetella Bronchiseptica (Progard-KC) at 6 weeks of age. It is the buyers responsibily to keep the puppies vaccinations current to prevent the sometimes fatal puppy hood diseases.
Rabies vaccination and heart worm checks are recommended at 6 months of age. If your puppy will be exposed to tall grassy or wooded areas, a Lyme's disease vaccination is also recommended. Your dog may be spayed or neutered at this time. I do not sell breeding rights to any of my puppies or dogs. I encourage all of my clients to make informed decisions about breeding. All of my AKC registration papers are issued by me as "Limited". This means that if you choose to breed a Beagle that you have purchased from me, you will not be able to get papers for the puppies. You may qualify to purchase "Breeding Rights", at my sole discretion, and only if you enter into a "Breed Back Contract" with me. This is only considered on an individual basis and is a rare occurence.

As payment we accept cash, cashier's checks and money orders. Personal checks and credit cards are no longer accepted. Deposits are non-refundable. Bank transfers may be accepted if warranted by circumstance.
Our summer hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. (MST) Monday through Sunday. Our winter hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (MST). Kennel visits and pick ups are by appointment only, please.
Obedience classes are also available by appointment only. (Classes are only available from Memorial Day through Labor Day).
Training material is available at no charge to all clients upon request at the time of purchase. I will also happily provide my clients with several resource website addresses.
Stud servies are also available and are considered on an individual basis. All of my males are proven breeders but I make no guarantees that the breeding will take. My fee includes one additional stud service session should the initial breeding not result in pregnancy. (This is at least 3 documented copulations).
